Wooden counting rods set, based on the Cuisenaire method, helps children explore and understand math concepts in a playful way. The set includes 56 wooden sticks of 10 different colours, which differ in length and color. Sticks of the same length are the same colour. The longer the stick, the greater numerical value it expresses. The smallest stick (10mm long) represents the number 1. Each next one is 10mm longer and represents the next ordinal number: pink - number 2 (20mm), blue - number 3 (30mm), etc. Each set also includes 10 double-sided three-level-tasked cards. In the process of playing, the child quickly acquires an understanding of basic mathematical laws: - number and it's composition - forward and backward counting - values and concepts: more, less, equal, longer, shorter - addition and subtraction with the help of sticks - the multiplication table The set is designed for children from 3 to 8 years old to play either at home or in educational institutions.
